10 JUN What wants to happen now? Ask your MUSE!
Light your creative fire! – GLOBAL MUSE DAY in KARLSKRONA!
This is one of several daylong intuitive painting jams taking place more or less simultaneously around the globe to light the FUSE of your MUSE!
Initiated by and together with Shiloh Sophia and the Intentional Creatives Guild, Jessica Enevold launch four global MUSE-days at Gefion Art Studio in 2017.
Shiloh Sophia, Artist and Maestra behind the Intentional Creativity Method will be teaching in California, as will other teachers in for example Virginia and Colorado, and we will check in with them online during our process to see what they are up to and to join them in global community. But, most of all, we will paint and meet our MUSES!
The question we will bring to the canvas today is:
WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN NOW?
Answers are not always easy to come by, there is often more than meets the eye waiting for us around the next corner. Can we allow for the unknown to unfold? How can we know anything about that which we have not experienced yet? The trick is to ask the questions we do not have the answer to – and then let the creative process do its work in telling us what we need to know.
Asking questions and asking for answers is what we do in this workshop. We put it on the canvas and let it – our M.U.S.E. – respond.
Perhaps there is something you need to do, some thing you need to change, but you do not know exactly what. Perhaps you have decided to move on from/to a business or creative project, a relationship, a job, or place of living, but ask yourself where to? or How? What path to choose? Most of the time you have the answers to these questions yourself, but you are not always able to hear yourself clearly. You cannot see the forest for all the trees, as it were.
In this workshop we give up steering and controlling – we ask: what wants to happen next? By painting and writing we access our inner campass; our inner GPS, which is ruled by our personal critic but also guide, our “muse” within.
We start on Saturday at 10.00 and end approximately at 18.00.
We begin with a Red Thread Circle Café, checking everybody in mentally, spiritually, physically, letting you know about the process, what to expect (but not everything, because that will unfold as we paint!) During the day we will check in with our international collaborators in California, Virginia, Denmark and other places if possible, and curiously heed the guidance of our MUSE who will emerge on our canvases.
We end with a circle to share about the images and the process and “check us out”.
There will be coffee and tea, and chocolate of course. Snacks and drinks are included, but do bring lunch on Saturday.
